how i can totalizate an amount in a report for a simple data item

The GroupTotalFields property determines which fields to group the data on. For totaling you would use the TotalFields property. Let's say you want to total an Amount field from the customer Ledger Entry table, and you want to see a total per customer. You would define Amount in TotalFields, and Customer number in GroupTotalFields. All you need to do now is to place the Amount field in a groupfooter section, and in a footer section for a total for the dataitem, and the report should automatically display the total values for you. No code necessary.
