Is Active Directory is mandatory to run BN in a stand alone

Hi All,
I have instelled NAV5.0(IN) and BN in a stand alone PC in O/S "Windows 2003 Server SP1". No Domain/Active Directory is there.
Can I run BN successfully in above condition?Plz clarify.......
