Email logging disabled on NAV 2009?

I need to implement email synchronization on NAV 2009, but I read on the White papers that this functionality only works with the Classic Client. Anyone know the reason, or if this is going to be fixed on SP1?

    Yes, haven't found anything. If you see something please let me know. I have it working with the Classic Client but I need to be sure it will work with RT too.

    A really old post but just wondered if you had the email logging feature working from the RTC?

    We're on Nav 2009 R2 ... and would like to run the logging codeunit directly (c5064) from a Page action.

    It works fine from the classic client... we just get some errors when trying it with the RTC.
