Change Customer detail in Service item

Hi Experts,

i want to change the customer in the service item, when theres some outstanding orders/invoice exsist. when i try to change system says "you cannot chage customer beacuse the service item belongs one or more invoice "

how do i do this?

Why not create a new service item in the first place ?

Create a new service item and link it to the service item 1 original item as that is how its mean to occur.
