it could really helpful if you exaplain what type of dimesnions we can use in transfer order, Item journal.


I know it is based on the customer requirement , but experts if you explain generally what type of dimensions we can use in these forms.

Based on that feedback i will consider my client scenerio.

This question is more like what to have in breakfast daily, though it depends on person to person taste's needs , appetite and place the person belongs to.

So it depends on client to client, what there business needs are and sometimes some documents need extra identifying tags to be mentioned as per local legislation so dimension are used. Believe me it is a quite wide question.

As dimensions are meant to help with the analysis and division of data it really comes down to what does your client want to know and what do they use the data to analysis.

The Inventory journals will usually use all the dimensions assigned to the items on the line, if you wish to insert new dimensions for a particular reason you can also do this.

Ask the client what they would like to know.
