Report Error

Dear Concern
We r using Navision 4.0 SP3 Database and created 1 report(Item Deatils), report only shows the Item Detail like Item List.When I run that report without anyfilter on Item No.(there r more than 50,000 Items) then it shows me the following error:

The OS Returned the error(131).
An Attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file.

How can I solve this error?

If i rememeber KINE or KIRIKI wrote a response to post that this has to do with the size of the file created being bigger then 2gb ?

i can't rememeber the being a solution other then filtering down the report into 2 lots EG print 0-5 run report again for 6-10

Hi Vikram,

This problem occurs because Microsoft Dynamics NAV cannot handle temporary files that exceed 2 GB when the report or the dataport inserts data into a temporary table.

Solution :-

Use filter(s) which can limit the item numbers...
