Hello fellow NAVsters,
Currently working in a large scale NAV implementation and would like to know if anyone has some good "Stress Testing Techniques" for NAV, which have been applied in other environments.
Any suggestions or docu links would be really appreciated.

NAV 2009 was suppoesed to have a Performance Benchmark Toolkit but its release is marked as delayed.
We have completed 2 several heaving testing procedures for a NAV 4.02 DB UK with a 5.1 client (testing was for client upgrade)
we drove nav db to 1tb in size to test performance as well as having large bulk transactions running concurrently.
You main issue will be testing the change you may have made to the system to see how they affect user posting and data lookup
for the users. unless you already have a lot of data already posted or a script that will continuously post to the DB your best bet is to look at performance tuning to prepare the installation to run as smoothly as it can before go live. The real stress won't occur until after go live and many users starting posting at the same time. We had a 2 week testing phase with a team of people.
Which version will you be using ?
