direct unit cost in 5 deciamls places

Hi ,
One of my client is asking he wants to enter the Direct unit cost in 5 Decimals in Purchase line and same as Unit cost in sales line .

That means Direct unit cost = 23.21345

Will I get any problems in future if I enter the direct unit cost in 5 deciamls places.

I believe financial numbers are already stored to 5 decimal places. Sometimes it is necessary, so you should not get problems with it as the database is already setup to handle this.

Hi

You can change the decimal precision by changing the general ledger setup table.
"Amount Rounding Precision" & "Unit-Amount Rounding Precision" fields.
