Reason codes - In general Journal

Hi,

In general journal batches form u have a field called Reason codes.

Generally what type of codes we will use here when we are using the batches .
It could be better if u through some examples.

Reason code is used to supplement the source code. You can define different types of transaction you enter :
Bank Transactions, cash transactions, JV, Purchase, Sales etc.

It gives you additional filtering field for reporting/analysis purposes

You can use the Reason Code table if you need a code to supplement the codes generated by Source Code and Source Code Setup tables.
