CRM has reached 1 million users

Hello I just saw the news that CRM has reached 1 million users.
It's amazing that it so quickly reached that many users in about 2 years?

Compared that to NAV, how long did it take nave to get that many users?


MS doesn't release info on each product separately on how well it does compared to others.

I'm curious if anybody has any info. Thanks.

I thought CRM was named users? In which case you can't really compare. A company that has CRM and Navision, might have 100 employees using CRM as named users, and have 30 Navision concurrent users.
Also why do you say 2 years, CRM has been around since about 2003 right? So six years?

In any case though its a very impressive to do this in such a short time.

It must be the Twitter/CRM integration that did pushed them into 7 figures.

I tried to look up the year it was released but couldn't find any site. That's why I put it as a question mark.

It would be interesting to know how many companies are using it. Nav is at 75K companies?

I just remember being at TechEd 2003 when they were talking about it as a new product. So End 2002/start 2003 I think.
