Hi,

When I close the fiscal year automatically the field Closed year will get a check mark. At the same time the fied Date lock is also getting check mark.
Then what is the use of this Date lock .

My understand is if the closed year has the check mark means I can understand the year closed .
That what is the use of the Date lock.

There is a check mark in this field if it is not possible to change the starting date for the accounting period.

To close a fiscal year, click the Close Year button. After you run this function, all the periods in the year will be closed, so there will be a check mark in this field.

After a fiscal year is closed, do not try to change the starting date for the following fiscal year. The Date Locked field will contain a check mark when the fiscal year is closed.
