Decimal Places

hi all

we are using Nav 6.0 and i have imported the old balances with decimals into the system. but when i check in chart of accounts the decimal is not there for balances. when i try to enter the Appl rounding precision as 0.00 it's again changed to 0. now some of the g/l accounts showing 0 balances but it has some balance in it. and i cant able to make the journal entries in decimals.

so can anyone help me on this

You need to speak with your partner about this. They have set the decimal rounding incorrectly. Your best solution now is to go back to the empty database set it up correctly and then re-import the data.

Since you are just discovering this it looks like this is an early test before go live, so it shouldn't be a major issue. Just make sure that you talk to your partner and make sure the consultants assigned to your project understand how to set up Navision.

Just to clarify rounding 0.00 will actually be rounding to 0 - you should be entering 0.01 as the rounding.
