Planning worksheet

Hi,

i have a scenario where Production BOM is not attached at the Item card but at the combination of the item + Sales Order No + Sales order line no.

standard Navision Item No. 1000 ---- Production BOM NO -1000

But in my scenario there wold be no bom attached at the item level.. instead of it will be at the Sales Order level.

Item 1000 --- Sales order no "XYZ" line no 10000 --- Prod BOM No 1000x
Item 1000 --- Sales order no "XYZ" line no 20000 --- Prod BOM No 1000x1
Item 1000 --- Sales order no "ABC" line no 10000 --- Prod BOM No 1000x3

Now i want to generate planning worksheet for the item 1000 with 3 different BOMS.. but its not working... can anybody help?

Thanks,

So the Prod BOM is different each time I presume this is why you have unattached it from the item?

Have you added the Production BOM to the sales line then?

Pretty sure as standard the planning engine checks the item on the sales line and references the current BOM from the item card, so if you have modified the sales line you need to modify the planning engine as well, unless this is a localisation as well - just checked mine it is not on the sales line.

So yes you added this and yes you now know you need to modify the planning engine as well, or no?

I wish they would complete the development of Kitting and then get it into W1.
