Serial Number

Hi,

I m having problem while developing a small function in Sales and Receivable module. I have create a new field in Sales & Receivables Setup table name Relation No. And i have created a new line of Serial number for Relation no. In Sales & Receivables Setup table Numbering Tab i have drag out the Relation no. Field. But i have no idea how to point Relation No. Field to Serial number table. Please Advice

Look at any other field which is connected to ser. no. table. If you find "TableRelation" property you can see that it is set to "No. Series". That is it. Set property on your field to same value and it is done.

You can also copy another number series field (like customer nos.), then paste that field back into the table, give it a new number and a new name, and you're all set to go.

Hi ,

I found a solution, i just create a field which enforce a unique number, instead of pulling Serial Number table into the table.
