Compiled object problem

SogSog Member Posts: 1,023
I've encountered the weirdest problem for me with NAV.
When renaming an object (as in changing the id) I get the error that the Customer table is not compiled.
Even though it is. This happend every time I tried to change an objects ID.
In the object designer the customer table has TRUE in the compiled column.
Restarting did not help, recompiling did not help, designing, add some comments and then compile did not help.
So I'm getting a bit desperate.
What can I do to let the other objects know that the Customer table is compiled?

Working with NAV5.0SP1 on sql2005

That does sound like a bizarre problem. Have you tried recompiling all objects to see if maybe there's another object thats causing the problem?

If I remember correctly, the error message comes from the caption, not the name of the object. If you say copy pasted the customer table to table 50,000 and its not compiled that would give the error.

go to object designer, show captions and look for another customer table.
