Unable to acess the server . Why?

Hi I am trying to acess the server ( not the classic ) but i am not able too. Why?
This is the message that I get: " trhe program could not create a connection to the server. do you want to try again?"

How can i solve that problem to be able to work with NAV 2009?

    Is the service tier running?

    where is the service tier running? On same box different box?

    Can you ping the service tier?

    I could go on and on asking questions, (like is the computer plugged in) but it would be better if you provide more info on what you have done.

    I was just about to type that when I saw you had already thought of it. (Actually I was going to say "Is the server plugged in" but close enough :lol: ).

    First make sure yuo can connect with the classic client and then with role tailored.

    you should have server login in ur system and ur login in server system
