Dataports - Problem in Importing text feild

Hi all,
i'm facing a peculiar problem... when i try to import an text data containing more than 30 charecter (say 44) into an feild whose type is text and size is 50.. Navision throws an error message stating that the data has more than 30 charecters.

can anybody help me in this regard

is in imported text char " (quotation mark)? If yes and you are using variable format (csv), imput file cannot include quote in strings. They are misinterpreted.
