Unit cost not updated even i run the AICE

Hi,
Iam working on Nav 4.0 sp3
Raw materials costing method = FIFO
I would like to know about these ?
1 ) I have the Qty , Average cost = some value , but unit cost = 0 why ?
2) I Have the qty , Unit cost = 0 , Average cost = 0 why ?
Even I run the AICE batch job still it is showing the above values.
Please share u r experience.

The lack of information makes it difficult for anyone to respond.
What ILE and value entry movements do you have on the item mentioned.
Is Automatic cost posting turned on on your inventory setup, are you costing by item or by item location e.t.c.
Are the items lot or serial tracked.
How long is a piece of string.
