How i can Import MS Project task to Outlook calendar or Tasks ? If any body does so can give some idea. I did try thru excel but it gives some error or other.
Yeah actually i did by using excel so it is solved as well and not as well, but no point in keeping it in unanswered here . So thought to mark it as solved. But i thought somebody wud have tried so :-$ .

Can you post the process so other might get benefit from it.
yeah but it is two step process and applicable if ur appointments or task are complete day long, i mean 8 hrs.
U will first export the data from MS Project in form of CSV file and then use task import (both are default features in both the products). While importing u can map the field taken out by Project file to tasks of outlook means date of tasks will be mapped to starting date , u can choose what with what. But the issue which i encountered was it brings data very well onlt if it is for complete day or may be i cudn't discover more.
If u want hr by hr appointments stuff then u will have first create ur MS project file as detailed as possible, Which i am sure i won't. 8)
And as per suggestion of Kine i did ask in some other forum and came to know some applications (as add-on) are available to do it hr by hr and capture other details as well.
Yeah one more thing by default MS outlook can populate ur project as detailed as u want (means vice versa is available). I think i should be able to discover some more ways and will update here.
