Hi,

If I do a proposal entrie for a bank account I get the error message "the sign does not correspond with the outstanding entry"

Please help :S

I gues this was in Dutch Telebanking? If so, how did you solve it eventually?

I think it means you're applying a large creditmemo that makes the sign of the amount (-/+) of the sum of the entries the opposite of what is expected. This is something the finance dept. should be able to fix, but the error message is totally awkward.
