Doubt in nav 2009

bdurgabdurga Member Posts: 44
Dear Friends,

I have got a problem in moving a part of the code from 5.0 to 2009. In 5.0 the code contains the usage of a variable declared as RecordRef, they have opened this variable and used but never closed this variable any where. If i move the same code in 2009 its asking to close the RecordRef variable. Can any one suggest me to solve this problem.
I would be happy if i know why the system pulls this error message in 2009?
Is it a technical change made in Nav 2009 or is it a bug in 2009?
If their is some technical change in the usage of this function then suggest me to use RecordRef.close is mandatory and its proper purpose.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Durga

Could you list some of your code and the exact error message?
