Tools to check objects across multiple SQL databases

Hello,

I'm trying to assist the person that manages objects in the company by developing a tool that will be able to read the objects (#, name, version tag, date, time and blob size) and produce a report of the difference across all databases. This was an easy job when we started with 2 and 3, but we are moving into 8 - 10 separate SQL databases and maintaining objects across each is becoming more difficult.

Any ideas?

There are a few tools out there to assist with this, we have produced one to help us support our customers called SD Surveyor.

This allows you produce a report/file of all modified and licensed objects and import these into a table to report on version/detail conflicts. It also allows you store your version object history.
