Invoice with Multiple Sales orders

Is it possible to create a single invoice for multiple sales orders? If yes, please explain.

U can combine multiple shipments but not orders. That is the only auto stuff available when it come to combining docs in sales.

Yes, but you don't do it for the sales order directly.

Starting with a complex case of, say, 3 sales orders. Imagine that you have completed 20% of each of these sales. From the sales orders you set the 'qty to ship' column to 20% of the original quantity and then register the document selecting 'ship' only. For each Sales Order do a partial shipment of, say 20% of the total.

The result is 3 shipment notes but the sales orders remain open.

You then create a Sales invoice and use the button Functions / Get Shipment Lines to pull in the partial shipments of each sales order into a single invoice.

If all goes well when you register the invoice and go back to the original sales orders the column 'qty invoiced' should display the amount we have just invoiced.
