BAI Bank Administration Institute statement file import

jfeldhofjfeldhof Member Posts: 11
I need help to find out if there is already an interface available: we need to import bank statement information to NAV bank reconciliation from a file format called BAI2 or BAI2a as it is called at the Bank of America (BAI2a is containing century information vs. BAI2). Bank of America is the bank we will get the file from.

The NAV customer version I am working with is technically 5.00 SP1, object version UK 4.00 SP2.

Anyone knows of a bank interface for BAI2? I do have the file format specification but I am still hoping someone has already programmed an interface that my customer can purchase.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS: Download your bank statement from your bank in Quicken or Microsoft Money format. Your bank must provide downloadable statements in MS Money or Quicken formats.

The SIMCREST solution does not offer the requested format. [-X

    Hej,

I had a client with the same request. There are a few solutions available for Dynamics GP & SL i essentially bastardised one and converted it over to a nav friendly format. It ended up being quite a good result.

I later saw that BAI also use an XBRL format which nav can import and export straight away with the correct schema format. It maybe worth asking BAI if it is possible to have the file in XBRL
