AutoIncrement stops at 6776

Hi all!
I hit on an interesting "feature" of NAV:
Create a table 'MyTable' with an Integer field 'ID' as primary key, and a second field 'Comment' of type 'Text'.
Set the property 'AutoIncrement' to 'Yes'.
Fill the table adding texts to the second field.
You'll get an error "MyTable ID '6776' already exists."
Any idea?

is this sql or Nativem and what version of nav? Do you have filters on?0

If the "ID" field is not set to zero before you insert it, it will not auto-increment - it will use the value in the field.
RECORD.INIT does not initialize the primary key. You will have to have code:
ID:=0;David Machanick
