Consolidation is part of std nav. You need to create a new company. You can create it in US db or in India, depending on the person who is doing the consolidation. Then follow the consolidation manual on how to setup the GL account in the consolidated company and then import the GL entries from both companies into this new company and run your financial statement.

    Hi,
Thanks for the information. But, country wide database is difference is there. In US the taxation system is VAT. But in India VAT some places some places Sales tax and other taxes like FBT, TDS, TCS etc are there. So how to consolidate these issues.

    Thanks and regards.

The consolidation feature only consolidates general ledger (not sure about the IN version). It doesn't do any sales tax or vat calcuations.

I think you need to define what you think consolidation means.

Actually, we have GST and PST and HST and QST, depending on which province you live in. And QST is based on the subtotal AND GST. No wonder we have universal health care, eh?

    Hi all,

Thanks for the information. But, i couldn't get the answer for my original problem. Is it possible to integrate two databases not companies. ex. We have Company A which is a parent company is in India and using Indian version(Based on the Indian scenario), Another company B which in US which is using navision of US version(Based on the US scenario). Now i want to see the analysis reports and transactions of both the companies at a single point. Is it possible or not?

Thanks for your information in advance.

Yes you can. Use the Consolidation feature.

When you consolidate, you consolidate the G/L accounts into a consolidated company. Sales tax and VAT accounts will be consolidated as well.

Since you do not process any orders in the consolidated company, you do not need to setup sales tax or VAT.
