Valuation Date

Hi Gurus,
I have started very new in NAV and have fairly understood how costing works. I think so
. First of all i apologize for repeating the post in other words. But can please somebody tell me whether the conclusion which i have arrived on about valuation date is correct or not ?
The conclusions were
1. Valuation date is the date which i arrive on after adjustment, i.e. ACIE , it is the date when the value of item's cost will be posted to G/L.
2. If expected cost is turned on then the valuation date before adjustment, i.e. ACIE, is the date of receipt.
3. After the purchase invoice is posted completely and if any additional charges are posted then the date on which this invoice is posted will be the valuation date again after ACIE.
4. When ACIE change the valuation date ever, in case if it does, apart from, posting additional costs posting after the invoice is complete ?
How many of these are correct ? :-k
