Hi,

A Navision customer wants to give access to their customer through web. The customers should be able to create orders, see inventory details though this interface.

Could you tell us which components (like Commerce Gateway) will be needed to achieve this?

Thanks!
Bhushan

I would use a tools from a trird-party and not use the standaard Employee Portal of Commercy Gateway.

Some things about the solution you're looking for:
    - Is it more a B2B setting? Or more like a B2C consumer shop?
    - What's the expected number of users?
    - Do you want to create a lot of fancy visual things or is it more abouts sharing data from NAV and document?
    - Do you need to integrate with a lot of custom coding or more standard NAV?

The link above does provide good information about e-commerce, but nothing about linking NAV in to an e-commerce environment.

There are some good third party solutions out there, but none of them are cheap as the link above would have you think. E-commerce is not just a "webform" that you put out there for the world to see. It can become complex real fast.

    Good luck

    Hello Digital Vantage Point,

not only your solution allows access to Navision, but also other products. For example our products gets integrated in existing applications like SharePoint or DNN so that the features of these solutions can also be used.
