Upgrading Customzied codeunits written in local language

Hi All.
Currently my client is working on Navision 3.70 version and using some customized codeunits which are written in some Latin local language.
Kindly let me know the impact of these codeunits while upgrading them from version 3.70 to NAV2009.

Can you paste some of the variable names in here?
In NAV it is recommend to do the development in English. So I suggest to talk to the client and see if they can translate them to English before you upgrade.
