Are you sure that the client and the application are the same version ?
i got the same error if i tried to connect to a Axapta SP 1 Application with a Axapta Client (without SP1). Everything works fine expect the whole crm module.

Yes I am sure, there isnt any version difference!
Infact i have the demo version running on a stand alone machine.
I havent connected it with the server sitting on other machine.
Mine is Version 3.0 built #1951/514/op023

sorry, no solution from me
you may try this:
if you work in a 3 tier environment delete your local cash files or try to connect 2 tier.
a colleague of mine had a similar problem, he had problems to open the busrel form, on my maschine everything worked fine - we never found a solution for that.

Thanks let me try. Hope all is well at
your end.

We had encountered in the past exactly the same problem with Business Relation ot other forms, on some of our instalations (2-tier mode).
We only got ridd of it by reinstalling Axapta.

Thanks
I faced the same type of problem with my axapta installation earlier, i got rid of it just by recompiling the environment.
may be you can try this simple solution for your complex problem
synchronize the tables and then recompile.

If you install a standard Axapta from the installation CD on a Windows that includes SP2, Axapta will not work in some forms (like CRM).
The reason is that those forms are using an ActiveX which is blocked by SP2.
Solution: install the latest Service Pack for Axapta (SP4), then you will be able to work with all forms.
