NAS and License

Hello
We recently had a discussion about NAS and the Navision License, native Database.
Are the following statements correct?
1) In the programm directory of NAS the fin.flf is not subject to be replaced if a new fin.flf is deployed to the db server directory. NAS behaviors like a normal client, thus taking the license from the database server connected to.
2) It is good practice to restart NAS after deploying a new fin.flf to the db server directory because the db server has to be restarted anyway to activate the new license and the NAS does not reconnect always properly.
Thanks in advance
Thomas

Yes NAS behaves like a normal client, so:
1 - it will pick up whatever license the server is using, regardless of which folder it is in
2 - you have to restart, because just like a regular NAV client it only checks the license when it starts0 -
