Dear All,
How do I install my own customized database as the default database for Dynamics Navision using Role Tailored Client???
Using finSQL, I am able to browse for the desired server database. The same option should work using Role Tailored Client???
How do I go about and what are the settings to be changed (like CustomSettings.config, ....)??? Can anybody help me regarding the same???
Regards
Sivamohan.

1) You should read manuals... ;-)
2) the .config file is in the folder where the service tier is isntalled
3) It is easy to find the values in the config file
4) Do not forget to restart the service tier after that...0 -
Hi, thanks for your replay.
Already I have changed the database name in .config file which is available in Service folder (as u mentioned). Even though, I am not able to access the same database through RTC.Shiv0 -
Have you restarted the service tier after that change? Look into Event log if there are some errors or messages regarding NAV Service tier.0

Hi kine,
Now it's working well (after restarting the system and services).
Thanks...
