Inventory of items on a particular date!!!

Is there any report showing the inventory (opening stock) of items on a particular date?

There is no standard report to show opening balances as on date .
But u can acheve Through inventory Analysis report u can achieve this .

It is very simple based on the formaulations .
Path is

Finance - > Inventory - > analysis report.

Yes. Analysis reports are used for it.
Use a simple line template for all items, and a column template with Inventory Balance with column type as "Beginning balance" and ledger entry type as "Item Entries".

You can use the field "Net Change" on the Item table to calc the inventory to specified date (enter Location Filter, Date Filter - like ..myday, calc the field and you will see the state of the invenotry at the end of the day...).
