Hi all,
I am Importing a picture into Picture field in the item card. That picture(.bmp) is off course bigger in size. When i am trying to look at that picture, i am not able to see it completely. The picture is getting cropped at the time of display.

Could any one suggest me the solution to view the picture completeltely.I believe we can do it in the navision..
Thank You

The picture size is 2.25 MB

    Width - 1024 Pixels

    Height - 768 Pixels

    Horz. Resolution - 96 dpi

    Vert. Resolution - 96 dpi

    Bit Depth -24

    Frame Count - 1

I was checking out this issue by just click on "Print Screen" on my desktop and saving it in the MS Paint. The above said are the details of that .bmp image.
    Thank You

i think we cannot save 2mb file..

if possible reduce the picture to less than 64kb and to 200*100

    Thanks for your reply mohana...

It is not possibe to reduce the size of that picture file mohana...Even Client requirement is to import to file which is more than above said example...I tried to increase the size of the source size in the form, but i dont find any use with that...So, is there any other mean(through properties) we can fit the image into our source????
    Thank You

That's not the size of the pic that's your "Print Screen" version of the pic's size.

Note: Large pics like that will take up alot of database space, if you have alot of items.
One alternative is have them stored outside navision and call them to be viewed when needed. You cans earch the forum for many posts on this subject.

What we do is use pixresizer before importing any pic - you can mass change or individually change pic sizes quickly - plus it's a free download. http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

Also there are 3rd party dll's that can reseize you pic..
