Balance amount does not equal with debit and credit amounts

Hello,
With one of our client we have the following situation:
When I check the values of my trial balance then the balance shows at the overall level zero values. This is OK because when taking all credit and debit amounts together they must be equal and therefore the balance is zero. But my problem is that even the balance amount is zero, my credit and debit amounts are not equal. They differ in 0.02.
How could it be that even if the balance amount of my g/l ledger entries is zero but the credit and debit amounts, which form the balance, are different.
Our client is using Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3.
I checked everything but without any concrete result. ](*,)
Does anybody of you have a hint or solution to my problem. I am thankfull for any suggestions.

Hi,
Write a test report based on the G/L Entry table and check the amount field v's the debit/credit field. Print the exceptions and investigate.0 -
Hi,
in which way should the test report look like. Just testing if the amount is equal to the sum of the credit and debit amounts does not return any errors.
Can you give me some more details how to test the G/L entries for errors.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
That is what I was suggesting as the total of amount totals to zero and the total of debit/credit are out by 0.02. Check if it's a rounding issue.0
