Deleting the Posted Entries

Hi Friends,

I want to delete the Posted Entries like Posted Sales Invoice,Credit Memos ,Journals & Payment entries from History alone, the reason is there are thousand of entries in history which slows down the process and also makes it difficult for the user to get the posted document. Is there any way to do it..

I would see this as a last resort.

Have you run the data deletion routines?
Have you used any of the date compression routines?
Have you examined the configuration of the database?
Have you optimized the posting C/AL code ?
