closing date error

I m closing the books of accounts Fiscal year ended 31.03.09but after running close income statement procedure which has also rightly created journal i m getting following error.

"posting date is not within your range of allowed posting date in general jorunal line"

GL setup is > 010408..310309
User setup > 010408..310309
Work date > 310309
then wht cud be the reason for this error??

In Journal posting date is appearing as "c310309" which i know that C relates to closing this is the only diff other than normal date format..

Is there any step missing?

The issue has been resolved by me.
I ve change the GL setup to blank and posted the entry..n done.
