Discrete ERP Vs Process ERP

Which ERPs are the best for the Process Manufacturing and Discrete Manufacturing??

    Well you are on a Dynamics forum [:D]

    Dynamics AX and NAV will do both. For Process I would recommend the FullScope Process Add-on for AX and Process 800 for NAV, although I have not used Process 800.

    Users on here generally do this backwards, they have NAV or AX then try and make it fit the Process industry hence lots of questions on here, however like all matters, if you buy the right thing it makes it a lot easier.

    There are other vertical and industry specific software packages but there are many parameters that form the "best", you would need a process specific consultant not tied to a software house, with multiple implementations to give a balanced answer, lets wait and see [:)]
