Hi All,

One of our client is using NAV 4.0 SP3 with SQL Server 2005. Now the system was running fine but when they have shift their NAVISION-SQL Server means they have changed the IP and domain name they are facing problems of accessing Navision with SQL.

Users are able to log in but after some time error comes,

"The message is for the c/al programmers.

the call member Open failed. Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server returned the
following message:

[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen(Connect ()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied."

Now if the client again restart the SQL Service then system starts running but this has created a big problem. So please anyone can guide me its very urgent !!!!!!! ](*,)

Thank You

It meansthat the SQL server is on the same machine? In Same domain? But only the IP changed and the name of the server changed?

Or it was installed on new server, DB moved from old one...
