Why User id , Approval ID in approval template .

Hi,
What is the difference between user ID , Approval Id in approval template .
I know the meaning of User ID , Approval ID , how it works.
But what my doubt is y this form contain the two fields.
Please clarify my doubt.

I don't think there is any field approval Id on template form if i am right. There are two fields on Approval Setup User ID and Approver Id that means


For which "user" (User Id) who will be the "approver" (Approver Id, again a user), for catering this those two fields are there.
