quiet install minimum

I'm rolling out 3.7a to 50+ clients today, and am trying to figure what
command line options to use for an unattended install, without SMS.
setup /? says "setup.exe /S /v /qn"
Doesn't work though. mentions /v has parameters to pass to installer.
I'm trying to do a plain simple network client minimum install.
looked though docs, can't quite get it right.
