I have Volume field , packing qty, Trae weight .
Could any expert elaborate about what is the use of these ?

    Volume - This is the cubic size of the product, the physical space it occupies when the height, depth and width are known.
    Packing Qty - This is used with the concept of calculating packing duty and is, I believe only relevant in certain localisations, not something I have ever had to implement myself.
    Tare Weight - This is the weight of the container the product is put in. Therefore you can have a net weight of the product, which with the container, gives you your gross weight.

    in extension to this question can v use that

    for specifying capacity the way we do in NAV (Bin Capacities) defining what maxs and mins are allowed

    Against the location record you have the pallet and dimension information here, and you use this with the full WMS capabilities of AX I believe, not something I have ever had to do.
