Serial Numbers in BINS

Hi,

How can we find that which item tracking lines are in which bin code of WH?

For example I have item 1 qty 100 with item tracking serial numbers. now I want to place 50 items in BIN1 and 50 Items in BIN2. How will I know that which serial numbers are in BIN1 & which serial numbers are in BIN1?

1. Item A Bin1 Serial number 1..50
2. Item A Bin2 Serial number 51..100

When I work on shipment order and define the BIN1 it shows me all the 100 serial numbers it only gives me error at time of posting when I select the serial number 51 of BIN2.

By code it knows which serial number is related to which BIN but how can I see the same info in any form or table?

You can see which serial number is in which bin in the Warehouse Entries screen. You can get to it by drilling up on the Quantity field in the Item's Bin Contents screen. You may just have to show the Serial No. field as I don't think it's shown by default.

I got it now. I was not having any warehouse entry for item tracking option becuase I did not checked marked the warehouse tracking in the item tracking setup. Now its working fine. Thanks for your help.
