Error resotring objects from 5.1 into NAV2K9

I've been getting an error when I try to import objects into a blank NAV2K9 database (using NAV2K9 classic sql client).

The .fob was created in 5.1 sql client.

Strangely, I also get this error if I try to restore a backup created with 5.1

I'm not sure, but I think that the import gets stuck on table 5311 Outlook Synch. Dependancy.

Has anyone had any experience with errors importing between versions?

does the error prevent you from importing or does it just not compile? What does the error say?

The client crashes. I don't have any more information than that

I was able to import the same .fob into a 5.1 SQL Client.

I the Database is set as used for NAV Server, after import the objects are compiled, may be that there is some problems with the used automation library producing some error... check the event log for more info what failed...

Nothing useful in the event log either.

Right now, I'm trying to load into a 5.1 database (successful) and then convert by opening with NAV2K9 client.

Will let you know how that goes.

I was able to convert the database by opening it in NAV2K9 client. Then I created a backup, but when I tried to restore it on a different machine, again, the restore almost completes, and then crashes the client.

Any ideas about what could be wrong?

Try to use latest hotfixes for the client...
