How to change "Expiration Date"

What would be the best way to change "Expiration Date" for existing lot number
- when item with same lot number has remaining quantity in several different locations
- when part of the lot was already sold

Any ideas?

It seems there is no "default" way of fixing a user error (when user entered incorrect expiration date when receiving some lot number), or at least I did not find one yet.

Easy, make an adjustment applying to the Entry No. that compose that lot no. There's a field to do this and an option in the "Line" button.

Difficult, I think there is no "clean" way to do this.

In all three scenarios I suggest to use Reclass journal.

For 3rd scenarios issue a credit memo with correct date and sale it again.
reclass the rest.
