Printing Cross Reference item numbers when available

I need to print Cross Reference item numbers on sales reports. The goal:

- One cross reference number per item
- Not all items have cross reference numbers
- The cross reference number should be printed on the line ABOVE the normal item line, in the DESCRIPTION column
- If there is no cross reference number, no line should be added.

Example: Part A, w/cross reference number XXX; Part B, no cross reference:

__No._____Desc.____Qty____UOM____Price____Total
_________XXX
PART A___WIDGET___10____EACH____25.00___250.00
PART B___WADGET___10____EACH____10.00___100.00

If it can't be printed on the line above the normal item line, I can settle for the line below. Above is the preference.

I've been fiddling around with the CurrReport.ShowOutput command but haven't had much success; my skill with C/SIDE is limited.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    It should work like:

    SalesInvLineBodx
    OnPreSection - CurrReport.SHOWOUTPUT(Yourvalue <> '');

    _________YourValue

    SalesInvLineBodyx+1
    OnPreSection - CurrReport.SHOWOUTPUT(Type = Type::Widget);

    Descriprion___Type___Qty____xxx____"Unit Price"___"Line Amount"
