Service Management 5.0

Since there is no V5.0 exam, I recently obtained my Service Management 4.0 certification.

Does anyone have V5.0 documentation or any information as to what was specifically changed between the versions? I want to understand both because we support both, but all current implementations are V5.0.

I haven't heard or seen anything about 2009 changes yet...

I'm not sure there have been any changes, other than possible bug fixes. I've never even seen 5.0 Service Management documentation so I don't think much is different.

I've worked with Service Management in 4.3 and 5.0, I didn't notice any differences at all, except of course the ones that come with all of 5.0, like the menu changes.

NAV 5.0 is using totally different system of documents and postings. There are no longer Posted service orders, but are replaced by standard "service" shipments and invoices. And you can post "Usage" or "Shipment" of the spare parts etc.

Are those the biggest changes between the versions?

On that same note: If V5.0 is using "standard" shipments, does this now integrate with Warehouse Management? I know that was a limitation in V4.0.

No, even in version 5.0, there's no integration to WHM.
