Create Inbound Whse. Requests

Hi all,

I found a function "Create Inbound Whse. Requests" on released production order. Can anyone explain what is this function for? What will be created accordingly when I use this function? Just searched the forum, and cannot find any answer. Thanks a lot for any reply.

Warehouse request is used for warehouse to fulfill request. The records are created when you release a sales order, or Transfer or Return PO.
Production order do not have a release process. So they've added this through this function.

Warehouse mgt. uses the warehouse request to fulfill the picking process etc.

I wish Nav allowed a front form for this table. Warehouse could then filter etc and create Warehouse shipment and picks from this screen.
The screen could also show real time availability for all the request.
