As adminstrator you could create a user with no password (and then hang up a 'hack me' sign)
Seriously for read-only with SQL server you could replicated data to an insecure database (say access)
but it sounds like your Developer/DBA has quit / been fired and you did not get their password before they left. If this is the case remember - always be nice to developers & DBA's

Without entering correct username and password - no. So if you have no access to your company database, contact NSC and they will try help you.
