Please give me some idea where is business unit is provided in the Navigation pane.

    What exactly are you looking for :
    Business Unit: Location or a separate legal entity i.e. separate company.

    I got the informations - The Business unit is

    GL-->Periodic activities-->Consolidation-->Business unit.

    This applies when the Intercompany module is in use, i.e. when you are using more than one companies.
